BarkGoals Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of BarkGoals. By using BarkGoals, you agree to these Terms.
1. About BarkGoals
BarkGoals is a wellness tracking app for hydration, food, nutrition, weight, goals, reminders, and companion-based motivation. BarkGoals is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
2. Not medical advice
BarkGoals is for general wellness and informational purposes only. Nutrition, hydration, calorie, macro, weight, and AI-assisted estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical, nutrition, hydration, weight-loss, or fitness decisions.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the information you enter, the goals you choose, and how you use BarkGoals. Do not use BarkGoals in a way that could harm yourself or others, including unsafe weight-loss, overhydration, under-eating, or misuse of nutrition information.
4. Subscriptions
BarkGoals may offer paid subscriptions such as BarkGoals Plus and BarkGoals Pro. Subscriptions are billed through Apple using your Apple ID. Prices, features, and trial availability may vary by region and may change over time.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
- Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.
5. Apple standard terms
If you download BarkGoals through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies unless BarkGoals provides a separate license agreement. You can view Apple's standard terms at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
6. Premium features and availability
Premium features may include barcode scanning, missing-food learning, advanced insights, widgets, personalization, AI-assisted logging, or other features. Some features require internet access, supported devices, third-party services, or active subscriptions. We may modify, add, or remove features as BarkGoals evolves.
7. AI and food lookup features
BarkGoals may use food databases, barcode lookup, nutrition label recognition, or AI-assisted tools. Results are estimates and may be wrong. You should review and edit nutrition values before relying on them or logging them.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse BarkGoals, attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer protected parts of the app, submit unlawful or harmful content, abuse AI or barcode submission features, or use BarkGoals for illegal purposes.
9. Privacy
Your use of BarkGoals is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
BarkGoals is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that BarkGoals will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutrition, hydration, barcode, HealthKit, or AI-assisted information will be accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BarkGoals and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, health outcomes, or goodwill arising from your use of the app.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as BarkGoals evolves. Continued use of BarkGoals after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
